Great Barrington

The Gypsy Joynt
I love The Berkshires in general, but there's something about Great Barrington that I find especially appealing. There's unique antique shops, a music store, some delicious and quirky places to eat- even a patisserie. My favorite stops most definitely have to be Boho Exchange, and Gypsy Joynt. Boho Exchange, this vintage and consignment shop in this cute yellow building attached to an used book store. Anywhere I travel, I always make it a point to stop at a vintage, consignment, or thrift shop, and this one is one of my favorites. I absolutely love this bleach dipped oversized flannel I found there- very Kurt Cobain. Gypsy Joynt is this wicked cool (there's the New Englander in me) café with live music, great food, and fabulous bohemian dé
cor. Everything I've had is delicious from the "Al Capone", to the "I Love Lucy", you can't go wrong. Their coffee is excellent as well, (I recommend the Mama Sita Mocha). And of course, Be sure to finish off the day with some macaroons from Patisserie Lenox- they're simply divine.

Just some overpriced records at a music shop, and some
underpriced records at an antique shop.
